Twilight
Follow me, twirl,
Weave, counterturn
and pause.
Will you break and fall?
Will you plunge into
Sweet darkness?
Shatter and breathe.
Awaken, laugh,
Illusions cast
Into a circling pyre.
You are nothing.
Nothing but time,
And light -
Writhing, radiant,
Solitary eternities
Spiraling to dust.
