Northern Light This silver strewn pulse, riding the invisible tide Streaking the horizon with magnetic fire Igniting mountains of glass, seas of stone This infinite heart beating in the darkness The beauty of the universe's solitary song Scarlet arpeggios across an indigo sky So much passion in an ice bound land
Echo Does this same song disguised As a lonely echo beat in his heart Silent energy that lifts the bloom What is the reason for beauty Why see at all, why smell and touch Or listen to the universe's song What is the answer you seek A child, a poem, a symphony? Why beauty, God, why beauty?
Seeing the invisible He sees what eyes cannot see The hidden pulse of time He hears the secret language of the earth The infinite waves of innocence We are much more than we believe He said more awesome, grand Fire of life, infinity of wave Meeting at the core of being Simple, astonishing revelation Love, beauty is the path to love
